Cache of Celtic Coins Uncovered
Amsterdam. A metal detector hobbyist roaming a cornfield near the Dutch city of Meastricht  unearthed a cache of Celtic coins from the mid-1st Century B.C. In all 39 gold and 70 silver coins that had been minted by the Eubrones were recovered. The Celtic tribe was wiped out by Julius Caesar’s forces in 53 B.C.
