About Us
CelticLife magazine and CelticLife.ca were launched to celebrate the living culture of the Seven Celtic Nations (Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Brittany, Galicia in Spain and the Isle of Man).

We're been around since 1987, first as The Clansman to honour members of the various Scottish Clan Societies, then as Celtic Heritage. We became CelticLife in January 2009.

Our mandate is the same — To share the culture, traditions, history, music, books, art, stories and language of all Celtic people.

This site is yours. If you have photographs, videos, music or stories to share, please send them in. We also welcome your comments and participation in our forums.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am the director of an documentary entitled ‘The Pipe’ following the lives of people in Co. Mayo who have been affected by the Corrib Gas pipeline. We won best feature documentary at the Galway Film Fleadh and have been selected to have our international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The reaction to the film has been really overwhelming and we hope to bring the film to as wide an audience as possible as it is a story which has been 4 years in the making. I would love to get in touch with as many Irish-Canadian people and groups as possible and love to make contact with you and get as many people along to the film as possible – we have 3 screenings on the 10th, 11th and 13th of September. It would be great also if we spread the word amongst your members, friends and colleagues, and get a really good momentum going along with the film as we need all the support as can get in such a massive event as this. We have a website and facebook page too:

www.thepipethefilm.com and ‘The Pipe The Film’ on facebook

The official film festival page for the film is http://www.tiff.net/filmsandsc.../2010/pipe

If there are any other people or groups you feel I should contact, please let me know also.

Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing from you

I'm looking for information on holidaying in the Isle of Man. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm hoping to either camp or B & B it. What should I be looking for on the Isle? I'm hoping to go next September.
